Crom

Crom-Cruach: God of Agony and Malice

Description: Radiating wrathful crimson light from a jagged, spiked shard of corrupted crystal, Crom inspires feelings of bloodlust, rage, and fury, driving mortals to wild acts of carnage and cannibalism that see friends and families ripped apart by twinkling red flashes. His corporeal form is that of a giant with over 100 arms and 50 heads, each arm carrying some devastating weapon of war or torture.

Lore: The first of the Fallen, Crom embodies the idea of malice, spite, anger and raw fury. Creator of all the fiends and Daemons who delight in torture, bloodshed and violence. Crom is the Overlord of Merihem, a plane filled with most bloodthirsty fiends found in the cosmos. His purple light enures feelings of forlorn loss that make one lose all the will to live while his orange hued light creates frenzied passions that consume all the thoughts of their victims. His recognizable guise is that of a pale-skinned humanoid standing over just 6 ft in height with a lithe but muscular body. His hair is pitch black while his eyes are neutrally silver in color, though the iris changes in color due to his mood and temperament. He can also change the color of his eyes at will to confuse friends and foes alike. Efnysien prefers garish garments arranged in a motley of clashing styles that manages to offend even the most flamboyant of mortals.

Lore: Created by the merging of Light and Darkness, which occurred out of pure curiosity, Efnysien embodies pure randomness and chance. Out of all the Demiurges, none delight in tormenting mortals than Efnysien. His playfulness does nothing to deter the damage he inflicts even if this errant god rarely kills his victims. His victims rarely find this a blessing, as Efnysien is as cruel as he is creative when it comes to tormenting mortals, many live and come to regret their twisted fates. He has impersonated countless mortals to enact chaotic schemes, though sometimes Efnysien works against other demiurges, always looking to stay completely unknowable.

Tufts of rubbish and refuse jut from its slimy, misshapen body only to deteriorate into mucky puddles of filth.

Lore: Glhoon was born from Lu-Kthu after the accumulation of decay reached a saturation point. He is the very idea of rot, decay and corruption made manifest. The creator of all foul slurping, slinking, slithering abominations that stalk swamps, sewers, refuse piles and other areas of decay and corruption. Glhoon is the Overlord of Xicotl, a swampy plane interspersed with corpse bogs and lagoons filled with thick clods of industrial waste and mortal excrement. Description: A cancerous, bloated mass of organs spewing new layers of flesh that instantly begin to rot. Ropes of decaying intestinal cords coil around the mounds of flesh, splitting open to release torrents of excremental muck and coagulated blood and yellow-black pus. Past the top layers of rotting flesh lie a series of pulsating organs connected by a series of fleshy tubes. Spars of bone were grafted over the ring of hearts, encasing the core of the new world in a protective cage of ivory. Pink-hued sacs filled with branching silver filaments appeared as well as tubular stalks of slithering, pale flesh. Ruddy sacs of dark-red flesh held vats of caustic, green hued acid that sizzled and boiled while others split open to reveal shambling, fleshy horrors.

Lore:  A sentient mass of living flesh which grew out of the control of Azathoth, rebelling against the one who made it. Azathoth destroyed any trace of intelligence from within the beast, but that did not stop it from growing. Monsters spawn from fleshy pods that stud parts of its surface creating macabre forests of flesh and fluids. Situated at the center of the outer realms, this rotting mass of continuous growing flesh spawns monstrosity and horrors with alarming rapidity. Many of the demiurges and daemons warp into the Vhrool to regularly steal away the slithering horrors bursting forth but none are foolish to stay for too long, fearing they too might be absorbed into the cancerous folds of rotting offal.

Not satisfied with terror and fears of mortals, Mordiggian will twist these forms into horrors that shatter a mortal’s mind with a single glance. When not terrorizing mortals, Mordiggian delights in appearing as a ludicrously seductive pale-skinned woman dressed in white, her hair and eyes always as black as the void.

Lore: Another of the Fallen, Mordiggian spent too long staring into the Void. Her mind and soul was eventually twisted into a vampiric entity that must feed off terror and despair to survive. Ruler of Annwn, a shadowy realm that shifts from scenes of great tragedy and loss, Mordiggian haunts the dark places of mortal worlds and minds, eager to see others succumb to the darkness of their own hearts.

In his realm of Gehinnom, Paigon appears a Grand Azure Dragon the size of most planets, his wings create thunderous storms of rampaging lightning and his breath can scour continents to barren ash.

Lore: Once an Uthran Praetor tasked with guarding the northern reaches of the void, Paigon was shattered during one of the countless battles against the hordes of the abyss. Unlike the others who dissipated into the Void, Paigon refused to die, his stubborn will encapsulated the swathe of flames released, creating a new demiurge. Her light incites no overtly negative feelings but instills a subconscious distrust in mortal psyches. Yaldabaoth can mimic a mortal after mere moments of observation and can twist its features into any organic shape it so chooses but none know her true shape after her ascension. She once was regarded as a plain looking Uthra, one of the many who could be easily lost in a crowd even with that race's inherent divinity.

Lore: Yaldabaoth was one of the many single-winged Uthran that were not given any particular task but could train to ascend to any position. Approved to be a sophist, a healer and mediator, Yaldabaoth longed to be one of the Archons, leaders of the cities of Aucturn. Fuming at the perceived slight that persisted for centuries, she bargained away the souls of her fellow Uthra in exchange for power, leading to her twisted ascension. While other daemons incite their wills via forceful and direct means, Yaldabaoth advances her schemes and power through only mere words. Twisting logic with newly invented fallacies, convincing the gullible, hopeful, or jaded souls into doing her bidding, Yaldabaoth relies on others to see her plots through to fruition.
